We began making and selling wine in early 1990s in the Old Newstead Butter Factory in the Newstead township. This cellar door outlet is now closed and we are now established in a purpose built tasting room and winemaking facility at the Welshmans Reef vineyard, with views towards Lake Cairn Curran, set in 50 picturesque acres of natural bushland.

Welshmans Reef is a small hamlet in Central Victoria, about 5 km north of Newstead a quick drive along the bitumen towards Maldon. The winery is easy to find on the main road 1 km before you reach the Welshmans Reef hamlet.

As before, our opening hours are from 10 am till 5 pm on weekends, and 11 till 4 on public holidays, and other days by appointment or by chance. (Closed Christmas and Boxing day and New Years Day.)
